If the product is installed in the engine oil and the engine has not been started, in many cases you can remove the valve cover and drain the oil leaving the drain plug off. Then use an engine flush washing out the head keeping special attention to the oil return holes that run down to the oil pan. Clean these out and pour the engine flush down these holes flushing everything into the oil pan and out the drain hole. If the engine has been run, you need to take the vehicle to have a professional mechanic evaluate what can be done to clean the inside of the engine. This might include taking the engine apart to clean all of the parts.

“I used it on a 94 Toyota Camry V6 which was running on five cylinders and using 2ltrs of coolant each drive. “Trying it on my motorbike. First thing, I removed the coolant filter from the system as that restricts flow and has a small metal mesh.
Only 1/3 of a bottle was put in the radiator.
The first attempt failed as i believe only 20 minutes idle was not enough idle time (some hoses were not as hot as others, but remember this is a motorbike not a car).
The second attempt I let the bike idle for about 80 minutes.
By then all the hoses where full hot and as soon as the temp light came on I shut the bike down, then left it overnight to cool down.

My leak was from the coolant journal to outside so no oil was involved or steam out the exhaust.
